We are Bearing Station. We are a Limited Company(Registration Number: SC357273) and we trade from our premises at Unit 4C, Eastfield Industrial Estate, Newark Road South, Glenrothes KY7 4NS. When you place an order with us through our website we will do business on the following terms:

1. Prices

The price that we quote to you will always include VAT at the applicable rate.

2. Payment

When you order through our website your order will only be processed when your full payment (together with any delivery charges applicable) has been met from your credit/debit card. Unless payment has been made in full then we are sorry but your order cannot be accepted. We do not offer credit facilities to customers who deal with us through our website.

3. Despatch

We will do our very best to ensure that your order is despatched to you on the same day that it is placed with us. This is provided that your order is placed and paid for prior to 1400 hrs Monday to Friday. An order that is placed with us at the weekend will be despatched to you on the next working weekday.

4. Delivery

We will deliver your order to any UK mainland address that you nominate. Unless you request otherwise delivery will be made according to the standard tariff operated by whichever national carrier we elect to use. This will normally mean that your order will be delivered during the course of the working day following the date of despatch. If your delivery address is to a remote location then you must accept that delivery may take a little longer. In all cases, we will provide you with a shipment reference which will allow you to track the progress of your consignment If you require an express delivery service then we will do our best to provide this for you. You will be responsible for any additional charges that arise from the use of express or premium delivery service. All delivery charges arising must be met by you at the time your order is placed and paid for.

5. Receiving Orders

When you place your order you will nominate the person to whom the order is to be delivered and who will accept delivery. This is to ensure that your goods end up where they are supposed to and is to protect all our interests. We will only depart from this arrangement with your express written authority.

6 Availability

We keep a healthy level of stock and hope that we can, as a rule, fill your order from the stock we hold. However, there will, inevitably, be occasions when we are exceptionally busy and when certain items of our stock run out. If this does happen then we will despatch your order as soon as the item(s) in question is/are restocked. We will keep you advised as to the progress of your order.

7. Cancellation

We hope that you will never have the need to cancel an order that you have placed with us. However, you may do so at any point up until your goods have been despatched. Cancellation may not take place once we have sent your order out to you. Cancellation may be made by telephone but will need to be confirmed immediately thereafter either by fax or by Email. Our contact details are given at the head of these Terms and Conditions.

8. Returns/Guarantee

Once your goods have been delivered you may return them to us for a full refund provided that you do so within 30 days of receipt of the goods by you. You may return goods without having to state a reason. However, you will only be refunded provided that the goods are in their original packaging and are in all respects unused and re-saleable. You will be responsible for the cost of returning goods to us.  Some goods will be subject to restocking fees.  Refunds will be made through the banking system and will be credited to the credit/debit card used in the initial purchase. We will action refunds as quickly as we can. We are not responsible for any delay occasioned by the banking system.
The Public Returns form must be completed and returned to ourselves for us to action.

9. Mistakes

We will strive to ensure that the service we give you is at all times exactly the service that you require. However, human error is sometimes possible. If we make a mistake then we will tell you and we make all efforts to sort things out. So, if for example, we offer goods for sale incorrectly then we will do our very best to honour the offer that we have made to you. If we are unable to resolve matters with you then we reserve the right to decline your order and refund any sums that have been paid by you.

10. Complaints

We hope that you never have cause to complain about our goods or services. In the unlikely event that a complaint does arise then you should contact Bearing Station who is one of our partners. We will do our best to resolve your complaint in a reasonable manner and in a way that is fair to all involved.

11. Force Majeure

Sometimes things happen that are completely unexpected and beyond anyone’s control – for example: war, strikes, civil unrest, terrorist attacks – and what are sometimes called ‘Acts of God’. If anything like that does occur then we will do our best to keep things going. However, you must accept that we will have no liability to you that arises from any circumstance which is unforeseen and beyond our control.

12. Liability

Nothing set out in these Terms and Conditions is intended to affect your statutory rights or limit our liability for death or personal injury arising from negligence on our part or any fraudulent misrepresentation by us. If there is a problem with goods supplied by us then you are entitled to a refund or a replacement as outlined above. However, our liability to you is limited to the value of the goods to be refunded. We will not compensate you for any delays in delivery or for any failure in items supplied by us. Our liability to you specifically excludes compensation for indirect or consequential loss or damage however it arises.
